HDB recently broke ground of a grand renovation plan to its newly leased facility in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park (East). This facility is located in the boundary of Heqin Town, about 8 miles from HDB’s current location and 18 miles from Pudong International Airport. When the project is completed, this new State-of-Art facility occupies 50,000 square feet of lab and office space to accommodate up to 200 staffs. In additional to in vitro biology laboratories, a SPF in vivo animal facility and DMPK bio-analytical lab are built in this new facility, representing HDB’s continuous commitment to provide an integrated biology service organization. In vitro cellular phenotypic screening and biomarker profiling technology platforms, the other two new service offerings brought on-line at HDB will also be housed in this facility with existing screening platform technologies. The facility renovation is projected to be completed by the end of December. With this new facility ready and continuous expansion in its business scope, HDB is poises to further strengthen its leadership in in vitro biology field and move to build into a even more comprehensive CRO with broad coverage biology service coverage.
