Sept. 8, 2008 -- HD Biosciences Inc. (HDB) announces the hiring of Dr. Angela Chen as Head of Business Development and Project Management. Before this appointment, Dr. Chen was a marketing product manager at Rosetta Biosoftware, a fully-owned subsidiary of Merck & Co. in Seattle, WA since 2006. At Rosetta, she is responsible for product management, market planning and implementation. “Angela’s hands-on experience in acting as the interface between research and marketing will help shape business development practice at HDB and awards client’s a better experience when working with HDB”, commented by Wen Chen, Chief Operating Officer of HDB, “in addition, her strong scientific background would also facilitate a more efficient communication and project management between the Company and its clients.” Dr. Chen received her bachelor degree in biochemistry from Fudan University in Shanghai, China in 1998 and her doctoral degree in human genetics and MBA from University of Pittsburgh in 2002 and 2006 respectively.
