July 16, 2008 -- HD Biosciences Inc. (HDB) today announces the hiring of Dr. Frances Wang as VP of DMPK and bioanalytical services. Before this appointment, Dr. Wang was the Head of Toxicokinetics (TK) group and DMPK project manager with Bristol Myer Squibb (BMS) since 2003. She was responsible for the draft of guidelines and SOPs for GLP-compliant TK group. Dr. Wang received her bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Shenyang College of Pharmacy in 1985, master degree in pharmacokinetics from Shanghai Institute of Material Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1989, and PharmD from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1996. Prior to working for BMS, she was employed by Pharmacia (later acquired by Pfizer) as a senior research investigator in DMPK, by CarboMed Inc. as Director of Pharmaceutics, and by NeoPharm as the Head of PK group. She participated the NDA and/or EMEA filings of Celebrex, Bextra, Dynastat, and Orencia.
